Description of Incident
THE 33-YEAR-OLD man who died after his kayak capsized at sea off Anglesey has been named. Holyhead Coastguard was alerted at noon on Wednesday that a manís canoe had overturned off Traeth Mawr, near Aberffraw. The Trearddur Bay RNLI lifeboat was called out and the man was pulled from the water. He was then airlifted by the Squadron 22 RAF Valley helicopter to Ysbyty Gwynedd in Bangor, where he later died. He was today named as Simon Sait, of Christleton Road, Chester. An inquest into his death has been opened and adjourned by the North West Wales coroner.
