- Description of Incident
- Rosemary Wickstead, 45, is thought to have jumped in to the water when the boy began to struggle off a beach on the Isle of Harris.
She was enjoying a break with her GP husband David and their three sons, all of Herne Hill, south-east London.
Coastguards flew her to hospital by helicopter but she was pronounced dead on arrival.
Her husband and two of the couple’s sons were also taken to hospital but released without treatment after a few hours. - Supporting Information
