Description of Incident
Chris Vanstone, 49, ran into difficulty 60 ft underwater while diving 17 miles out to sea.

A second diver helped to bring him to the surface but lifeboat crews from Great Yarmouth said he was unconscious and was not breathing.

Mr Vanstone was airlifted to the James Paget Hospital at Gorleston, Norfolk, but he was pronounced dead on arrival.

Suffolk Police said a post mortem examination carried out at the weekend had confirmed he died from drowning.
