Description of Incident
15 year old boy, said to be Serge Etok, originally from Cameroon, drowned off the coast of Portrush beach. He got into difficulties whilst swimming outside of the supervised zones as a rip tide pulled him underwater. A 60 year old man almost drowned whilst trying to save the teenager and had to be rescued from the sea by emergency services. This incident came on the one year anniversary of the Ned McDonald,44, incident.
