Description of Incident
A couple drown in River Clywedog near Wrexham. They had been out walking their dogs before it is claimed that they had gone into the river in an attempt to save one of their dogs and were tragically drowned by the swollen river and its fast current. Due to the recent weather, the river had risen 4 foot (1.2m) and the conditions were very dangerous multiple sources report.
